SE916_00000 Strategic Research Report
The new Century has heralded a paradigm in the way we view the world, its citizens and how we tackle
the many, collective, problems that obstruct a just and equitable future for humanity. Traditional values,
once viewed as a colloquial nuance, have become paramount in determining identity and direction in
the modern global economy and community. As good global citizens, we are faced with the imperative
to find new solutions to both new and old world problems. SE807, Applying the Principles and
Philosophies of Social Entrepreneurship, explores, in a contemporary and real world context, the
concepts of new world realities and how global citizens can develop a sense of social entrepreneurship,
that in turn drives sustainable outcomes by critically analysing these principles within the context of the
industry sponsor case study.
